A dedicated and results-oriented attorney with over many years of experience in Brazil, Silvia Munhoz is committed to helping our Brazilian clients navigate the complexities of personal injury and immigration cases. She has a proven track record of advocating for consumer rights and protection in Brazil.
Silvia Munhoz is a licensed attorney with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). She has built a strong career in the Regional Labor Court and the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais. Her expertise in Consumer Law was further enhanced when she served as Director of PROCON-GV, where she specialized in consumer rights and protection, gaining extensive experience in advocating for her clients.
With her background, Silvia has conducted courses and lectures in various areas of Consumer Law and has also worked as a Legal Mediator at the Conflict Resolution and Mediation Center – TJMG. Over the course of her career, she specialized in Public Law, Contracts, and Family Law. She led several public departments while in that position and developed in-depth expertise in international legislation.
Ms. Munhoz is currently handling high-profile cases in the English Court, particularly those related to the Mariana Dam disaster.
She is now part of Castel & Hall LLP, serving as an intern in our office in charge of Brazilian Client Relations, where she applies her extensive legal knowledge to develop strategic solutions to help our Brazilian clients.
