A 50-year-old male and his son went to one of the major fast-food restaurants. While he was trying to order his meal, he was assaulted by an individual who displayed signs of mental illness. The restaurant saw the incident and did nothing to deter or call the police on the aggressor. We filed a lawsuit against the restaurant for lack of action. We settled this matter for $50,000.00
